Welcome to Rindge FD
The mission of the Rindge Fire Department is to protect the lives, property and environment of the Town of Rindge and surrounding communities when called upon.
We operate out of two fire stations to provide fire protection as well as non-transport Advanced Life Support Emergency Medical Services to the Town of Rindge. Our fleet of apparatus includes two Class “A” Engines used for primary fire suppression, one Tanker that carries 2100 gallons of water, one Rescue truck used for EMS response as well as vehicle extrication and technical rescue operations, one Brush truck used for battling brush fires and small outside fires and one Hose truck that carries 3200′ of large diameter hose (LDH) for the purpose of moving large amounts of water from a fire hydrant, pond or stream, to the scene of a fire.
In addition, we utilize a Command vehicle, a Chevy Silverado Utility truck, a Rescue-1 boat, an ATV and various emergency response trailers that hold equipment such as traffic control devices, Haz-Mat equipment and ice/water rescue equipment.
